The secret al-Qaeda organization: More than five years have passed since the United States of America declared what it called the war on terror, and despite that, the results were completely opposite, rather disastrous by all standards.

So far, it has lost about 3,000 American soldiers, and about 25,000 others have been wounded, almost half of them with crippling injuries.

On the financial level, the expenditures of this ongoing war in Iraq amounted to 500 billion dollars as of this writing, and it cost the US treasury seven billion dollars a month, excluding other indirect expenses.

The administration of President George W. Bush may have succeeded in toppling the two regimes, the Taliban in Afghanistan and Saddam Hussein in Iraq, but it lost the war against them.

The powerful superpowers can, with their deadly weapons, destroy small or weak countries, but they cannot defeat them. This is how history has taught us, and so its facts have proven, as America was defeated in Vietnam. And the Soviet empire began its collapse after losing the war in Afghanistan.
